Medicines and sanitary materials for Cuba from Spain

A shipment of medicines and sanitary materials was sent to Cuba by air, as part of the campaign to the areas affected by hurricane Ian, it was informed today.
 
The shipment, worth 21,500 euros, was in charge of the Ernesto Guevara Association of Torrejon de Ardoz, the Valencian Association of Friendship with Cuba José Marti and Medicuba-Spain.
 
Actions of this kind, Cubainformación explained, are carried out by the State Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MESC), to which the three aforementioned entities belong.
 
After coordinating with the Cuban Embassy in Spain and the airline company Word2fly, the transportation of the cargo, whose destination will be Pinar del Río, was enabled.
 
The Ernesto Guevara Association of Torrejón de Ardoz thanked all the people who joined the campaign and reassured, them, that together with other friendship groups with the Caribbean island they will continue to stand up against the blockade.

This Wednesday the shipment will be delivered to the Abel Santamaria provincial hospital in Pinar del Río.
 
Recently, the Catalan Solidarity Coordinator “Defensem Cuba” loaded a 40-foot container with sanitary and orthopedic materials, all bounded to the province of Matanzas.
